Steps

  1. Optional - to make your 250 g beef extra tender, add 1 tsp to your meat, mix to combine, and set aside for at least 15 minutes. Rinse under cold 2 tbsp water and pat dry before moving on to the marinade.

  2. Add 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 tsp cornstarch to the beef, mix together, and set aside for 10 minutes. While the beef is marinating, mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the 250 g beef and cook until it is just browned on the outside. Transfer back into the bowl and set aside.

  4. Add the remaining 2 tbsp oil to the pan. Add 3 cloves garlic and 1 tsp ginger and cook until fragrant. Add ½ medium onion and ½ each bell pepper, and stir fry together for about 2 minutes.

    2 min

  5. Add the 250 g beef and 1 tsp sauce and stir fry for 1-2 more minutes until the sauce is thickened and the beef is cooked through. Finish with 2 scallions, and remove from heat. Enjoy!
